The students were given a tour of the Shloop facility, where they saw the entire process of shoe manufacturing from start to finish. They learned about the different materials used, the machinery involved, and the quality control measures that are in place. They also got to see the Shloop team’s design process, which included sketching, prototyping, and testing. The students were then tasked with designing a pair of shoes that they thought would be successful in the everyday market.
